May 1 is our Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month celebration. Join us in person or online at 10:30 AM for a service led by AAPI members of CCC. Our special guest preacher is Rita Nakashima Brock. Dr. Brock is an American feminist scholar, Protestant theologian, activist, and non-profit organization leader. She is Senior Vice President for Moral Injury Programs at Volunteers of America, headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and a Commissioned Minister in the Christian Church.
We will also celebrate the sacrament of communion. If sharing at home, please prepare elements to bring with you for the online service.
Our Easter Sunday Celebration begins with an online Sunrise “Bonfire” beginning at 6:30 AM on Zoom. Join us for an informal time of singing, sharing, and greeting a new day. Join in with the CCC Worship Zoom Link.
The Easter Sunday Worship Service begins at 10:30 AM, in-person and online. We will host only one service this year. There is no church school, but nursery care is provided. Families are invited to stay after the service for an Easter Egg Hunt with the children, hosted by CCC’s Church School.
Join us at 10:30, in person or online, for worship. Pastor Matt preaches, the Acoustic Band will lead the music, and members of the Immigration Circle will give us an update.
It is also Giving Sunday. It is that time of year to think of pledging a financial commitment to CCC. It is so important as it allows the Coordinating Council and church leadership to thoughtfully plan for what we can do as a church during the year ahead. We ask that you prayerfully consider your pledge to support CCC’s unified budget. Submit your pledge today.

During the service we will commission new Because We Care members and Paul Scribner will share a word of testimony. We will also say farewell and Godspeed to Nancy Surprenant (Chris Braddock’s mom) who is moving to Vermont.
Our March 13 worship service has a Celtic Emphasis, with hymns and special music by the Chancel Choir. Pastor Matt preaches, “Where is God When I’m Angry?” Join us in person or online.

Join us March 6 as we gather to begin Lent with a service of word, music, and sacrament. We will serve communion to those who gather in the sanctuary. If you are worshipping online, please prepare communion elements so that you can participate at the Lord’s Table.
This week, we also begin Church School for elementary-aged students during worship. We will also have a class for Middle Schoolers. The nursery will be open as well.
All are invited to join us for Ash Wednesday worship, March 2 at 7:30 PM. For those who wish to receive the imposition of ashes, please join us in person in the sanctuary. We will also stream the service on Zoom for those who wish to begin their Lenten journey online.
This Sunday we return to in-person worship in the sanctuary, and we will also offer the service online at our regular Zoom link. We close out Black History Month with special music by our Chancel Choir. It is also Transfiguration Sunday.
