Christ Congregational Church and Takoma Park Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) have combined their individual youth ministries into one cooperatively-run youth program. We run programs for youth in 6-12 grade, usually on Sunday nights from October through May.

We offer education and opportunities for spiritual growth for adults of all ages. Our Adult Ministry is composed of a combination of both lay and clergy led classes and faith development sessions. Opportunities include a Sunday morning Contemporary Theology Class and seasonal Bible studies.

The Senior Adult Committee usually meets on the second Monday of every month. They enjoy a time of fellowship and plan retreats, trips, luncheons, movie afternoons, and other events for the older adults in our congregation. Contact Pastor Gloria Grant for information on upcoming events. People of all ages are welcome to events hosted by the Senior Adult Committee!

Small groups help members of a congregation feel included and engaged and help meet people’s diverse spiritual, educational and relationship needs.  These are not service boards or committees, but interest groups that are formed for mutual education, support and benefit.  There are several small groups at CCC that offer a variety of experiences and ways to foster spiritual growth.  All are welcome to join these groups, and we hope you find a group that is right for you!

The Ruth Richardson Scholarship was established in honor of Mrs. Ruth Richardson, a founding member of Christ Congregational Church and a teacher who maintained a lifelong interest in making higher education available to all students who wished to pursue their studies in the field of education.
