Our annual family service is back, complete with the Inter-generational Orchestra, angels, shepherds, animals and Wise Ones courtesy of the children of CCC and our no-practice Christmas pageant. Kids can come in their own costumes, or come early and borrow one from the the church. Costumes available in room 205. We will also stream the service on Zoom.

Christ Congregational Church (CCC) is warmly inviting members of the community to join them for their special Christmas services this year:
Sunday, December 18 at 10:30am – Christmas Music Sunday Service featuring the Chancel Choir, Advanced Orchestra and Brass Ensemble. They will be performing Mathias’ Sir Christèmas; The Shepherd’s Lamb; Ding Dong! Merrily on High; O Magnum Mysterium; What Child?; and Go Tell it on the Mountain; plus several selections from the Brass Ensemble.
Saturday, December 24 at 5:00pm – Christmas Eve Family Worship Service featuring the Intergenerational Orchestra, as well as a participatory re-enactment of the Nativity story. All babies and children are welcome to attend! No rehearsal needed. Children of all ages, visiting children, neighbors are welcome to borrow nativity costumes. Costumes for animals, shepherds, angels, magi will be ready to pick up in ROOM 205 prior to the service. Come choose from the collection or the children may wear what they have at home and be a part of the Christmas story!
Saturday, December 24 at 9:00pm – Christmas Eve Candlelight Service featuring the Chancel Choir and Advanced Orchestra, with pieces by William Billings, Franz Biebl, John Rutter and Morten Lauridsen. There will be a reception following the service.

Bottom Line: If you or someone you love tends to feel down and overwhelmed during the holiday, you are not alone. Join us following church on Sunday, December 11 in the Social Hall (and enjoy some lunch!) as CCC’s Health Ministry sponsors an educational and interactive session on understanding and coping with Holiday Blues. During this program we will discuss the nature of Holiday Blues, explore some things that can make holiday blues worse, and share practical coping and self-care strategies that can help. Lunch and Childcare/Kid care will be provided.
