Join us for “Embrace,” a soulful and liturgy of healing and reconciliation, especially in the wake of our June 11 meeting. In the safe and spiritual space we create, water’s symbolism will guide us towards renewal and unity. Through compassionate sharing, we will honor each other’s truths and emotions without judgment. Discover the power of vulnerability and the embrace of God’s love as we journey together towards harmony and understanding. Your presence is cherished, and voluntary participation is entirely at your comfort level. If you wish to share, please refer to the liturgy at the end of this email as your prepare your remarks.

We are thrilled to have the talented Will & Lynne Joseloff grace our liturgy with their captivating offerings on violin and piano. Their inspiring and lush music always elevates our spirits.  Join us as we immerse ourselves in the embrace of their beautiful music, uniting us in a shared journey of reconciliation and hope.

We will also welcoming New Member and award the Ruth Richardson Scholarship.

All are welcome to join us on journey of the heart as we embark on “The Path Less Taken.” As conflicts abound and wounds run deep, Sunday’s sermon unveils the transformative power of courage, vulnerability, and healing. We will delve into the life of an individual who dared to embrace vulnerability and walk a different path—a path guided by faith and resilience. As we immerse ourselves in this tale of courage, vulnerability, and healing, we are reminded that faith is not just a distant concept but a powerful force that propels us forward. It is the faith that allows us to step into the unknown, to trust that our vulnerabilities can be the catalysts for profound connection and restoration.

Join us at 10:30 AM, in person or on Zoom, as we celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism and the Rite of Confirmation. Every other year, CCC offers the opportunity for students in 9th and 10th grade to enter our Covenant Class and go through the confirmation process. Our Covenant Class includes meeting one-on-one with a mentor: a seasoned member of the congregation. Students also had the opportunity to attend a retreat with Pastor Matt at the Retreat Center last March. The congregation will also welcome our Covenant Class as full, active members of the congregation.

 

In addition to Confirmation, Pastor Matt will baptize Bobby Ryan-Silva and Theo Robelen.
