February 25 Worship Materials

Pastor Matt and Pastor Aubra invite you to join us in a vibrant celebration on the final Sunday of Black History Month at Christ Congregational Church. We’ll be uplifted by the soul-stirring melodies of the Chancel Choir and aided by lay reader, Karen Hawk.

Our special guest, Guthrie Graves-Fitzsimmons, communications director at the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Freedom, will deliver an interactive homily with Carlean Ponder that will inspire us to embody the spirit of liberation and equality that defines Black history. Guthrie’s insightful message will draw from his vast experience in advocating for religious freedom and social justice, inspiring us to take action and make a difference in our world.

Throughout the service, we’ll engage in prayer, reflection, and song, lifting our voices in praise and solidarity. more just and equitable world for all.
