Worship Materials for May 19, Pentecost

On Pentecost, we wear RED

Pentecost marks the momentous occasion when the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles, igniting the flame of the Christian church and uniting diverse people under God’s love. This day reminds us of the Spirit’s power to bridge divides and give us the courage to share God’s grace in every language and culture.

Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM for a special service. We’ll reflect on the significance of the Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives. We welcome The String Group, directed by Sarah Cotterill, which will add special music to our celebration.

In her homily titled “Speaking My Language,” Pastor Aubra Love will explore the profound impact of the Holy Spirit’s arrival at Pentecost and its relevance to our lives today.

We will also have a special dedication of the banner crafted by the women of CCC at the Spring 2024 Women’s Retreat.
