ONLINE ONLY – August 21 Worship Materials
We had to change the format for worship on 8/21 to ZOOM ONLY. There will be no in-person worship, church school or nursery on Sunday. We will resume in-person services on 8/28/22.
On Sunday, 8/21 we will hear from some of those who predominantly worship at CCC online to remind ourselves that our diversity extends beyond the walls of the sanctuary into virtual spaces and communities. Our guest speakers will be Jim Conklin, Sarah Ingram, and Erin Furlong-Cofske.
All members of the United Church of Christ are equals as a “priesthood of believers.” Individuals are free to live and believe based on their interpretation of God’s will for their lives. The UCC stresses unity within the church and a unifying spirit to heal divisions. It seeks unity in essentials but allows for diversity in non-essentials, with a charitable attitude toward disagreement. The unity of the church is a gift from God, yet diversity is to be accepted with love.
