Communion Sunday
Join Pastor Matt Braddock and Pastor Aubra Love this Sunday at 10:30am as we celebrate Communion Sunday together. This Second Sunday of Easter, we welcome to the pulpit our very own CCC member and seminarian Don Bruns, who will offer a sermon entitled “The Resurrection of the Beloved Son”. The sermon will be based on the story of Hagar and Ishmael from Genesis 16, which will be read by our Lay Reader this Sunday – and Don’s wife – Samantha Finstad.
Abe Laufer, on cello, will perform “Sarabande” from the 3rd Suite for Unaccompanied Cello, and “Gigue” from the 1st Suite for Unaccompanied Cello, by J. S. Bach. CCC’s Music Director Sam Wack will play “Home” by Ola Gjeilo on the piano.
After worship, please join us for coffee and refreshments downstairs in the Social Hall.
