Christ Congregational Church is on a journey to discern our future worship and ministry home. The Landing Place Team exists to support that process with care, transparency, and faithful imagination.

UPDATES:

September 2026 Update from the Landing Place Team: The Landing Place Team (LPT) has been active this summer researching, ruling out and visiting various co-locating and leasing options in the immediate Silver Spring area.  We have visited and then ruled out the use of the Seventh Day Adventist Takoma Park property due to the size of their available shared space and the rental arrangements.  We have ruled out a couple more synagogues due to their need for their own program space on Sundays.  A subgroup of the LPT is working with our realtor and a broker on learning more specifics about the pricing and accessibility for a commercial property that we have visited.  Pastor Matt is learning more from Pastor Will about potential shared space at the Hughes Methodist church location.  As more specific viable information develops we will let the congregation know about actual potential options.  In the meantime, if anybody learns of any properties or shared space opportunities do let a member of the LPT know.
