60th Anniversary Retreat House Celebration

Location
The 60th Anniversary Retreat House celebration will be held at the CCC Retreat Center, in Yellow Spring, WV, approximately 30 miles west of Winchester, VA.
Program
Come for Friday night or Saturday night or for the day on Saturday. Spending one night will accommodate more people. The availability for a two night stay will be assessed after the registration deadline of October 5th.
You may arrive as early as noon on Friday October 17.
The highlight of this weekend celebration will be a worship service at 2pm on Saturday, led by Rev. Jim Todhunter and music director Sam Wack.
Throughout the weekend there will be activities for all ages: field games, indoor games, hikes, walks, fishing, crafts, campfires, star gazing and visiting on the porches. There will not be a rain date. Your email registration will be used to communicate packing list, driving directions, inclement weather information. No pets permitted at this event.
The retreat ends at 1pm on Sunday.
Meals
If you do plan to arrive midday Friday, please bring your own lunch or snacks.
Friday dinner will be coordinated with those arriving in time for dinner.
Saturday breakfast and lunch will be provided by the Retreat Center Committee.
Saturday dinner will be coordinated with those staying for dinner.
Sunday brunch will be coordinated with those spending Saturday night.

To register for the event, please fill out our sign-up sheet. There will also be a registration table at church on Sundays leading up to the retreat where you can sign up in person.
The cost for staying overnight is $25.00 for one night per adult, $10.00 for one night per child over age 5.
Checks should be made out to CCC with “60th Anniversary Retreat” on the memo line. Bring your check to church or mail your checks to:

Accommodations
Retreat Center
Overnight space in the Retreat Center itself is limited to 23 people on a first-come-first-served basis, in three cabins with bunk beds and full bath in each cabin. One cabin is equipped with a ramp and accessible bathroom. There is no limit to those who wish to come for the day on Saturday.
Capon Springs and Farms
Additional lodging may be had at the nearby Capon Springs resort, which features 115 guest rooms on a 4,700 acre campus. Rooms with shared bath start at $182 per person.
Getting There
If it is your first time visiting the CCC Retreat Center, we recommend carpooling. The planning committee will create and maintain a sign-up sheet to help coordinate carpooling. Directions will be sent out the week of the retreat. GPS is not always reliable with the final turns so please refer to directions.
