Glorify your name in all the earth;
Glorify your name, glorify your name, glorify your name in all the earth!
Spirit we love you, we worship and adore you,
Glorify your name in all the earth;
Glorify your name, glorify your name, glorify your name in all the earth!Christ Before Me Suzanne Toolan
Christ before me, Christ behind,
Christ alone my heart to bind.
Christ beneath me, Christ above,
Christ around with arms of love.
Christ in all who look on me;
Christ in every face I see.
Christ in all who think on me.
Christ their food and Christ their drink.
Christ on all whom my thoughts seek;
Christ the lowly, Christ the meek.
Christ in all who listen to listen to me;
In my heart no thought but thee.Prelude Allegro Maurice Greene
Passing of the Peace
Believing that all people are children of God, greet each other with a sign of peace.
*Call to Worship
Christ is in our midst! How will you bid him welcome?
We will throw open the doors to our hearts. We will delight in his presence.
When God shows up, surprising things can happen.
We will make ourselves ready.
We will lay down our burdens and set aside our distractions.
Here we receive good news: Nothing is too wonderful for God!
So let us laugh and sing, rest and listen, dance and praise—
Let us worship God!
*Hymn of Praise # 498 Jesu, Jesu, Fill Us With Your Love CHEREPONIPrayer Of Invocation And The Lord’s Prayer
Living God, may we make time and space in our lives of busyness to be with you. May we find your presence in this worship; listening for your living word, feeling your hand hold our very being, knowing your love surrounds each moment. Be our welcome Guest not only here but everywhere we go this week. Show us how to receive all that you have to offer us. May we remain open even to what seems too incredible to be true, for with you, so much more is possible than we even imagine. We pray the prayer that the Glorious Jesus the Christ taught us saying, Holy God, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.Scripture Luke 10:38-42 Brian Frye

Musical Response I Am A Promise William Gaither
Refrain: I am a promise, I am a possibility,
I am a promise with a capital “P”
I am a great big bundle of potentiality.And I am learnin’ to hear God’s voice,
and I am tryin’ the make the right choice!
I am a promise to be…
anything God wants me to be.I can go anywhere that God wants me to go,
I can be anything that God wants me to be.
I can climb the high mountains,
I can cross the wide sea;
I’m a great big promise, you see!Refrain:

Generous God, we share what we have because we wish to serve you with the best we have to offer. Bless our tithes and offerings that they may become a bountiful feast for all who need to be filled with good things. Open our eyes to see the strangers you call us to welcome. Empower us to receive them as you do, with radically inclusive hospitality. May we recognize and delight in the gifts they share with us. Amen.Call To Prayer

Won’t You Let Me Be Your Servant?Benediction
Go out into the world to serve God with love.
Be ready to laugh with delight at the good news God has to offer you.
Make room at your table for unexpected guests.
