Welcome and Announcements
Passing of the Peace
Believing that all people are children of God, greet each other with a sign of peace.
*Call to Worship
Come, let us celebrate the One
who calls us to love and speak truth to power:
No one can stop us from speaking the truth.
We are called to love and defend our brothers and sisters
who suffer in silence:
No one can stop us from speaking the truth.
We must rise up, stand up, and speak up for righteousness:
No one can stop us from speaking the truth.
Come, let us celebrate together the power to love
and to speak truth:
We are ready to worship our God who is still speaking!
No one can stop us now!
*Hymn of Praise # 541 They Asked, “Who’s My Neighbor?” NEIGHBOR
Prayer Of Invocation And The Lord’s Prayer
Spirit of the living God, fall fresh upon us;
allow your presence to fill us with power from on high.
Come, Holy One, and dwell among us.
We need your authority to love our neighbor
and speak to the powers of this world.
Give us a special anointing to stand and be witnesses
in our homes, our schools, and on our jobs.
Come into this place and make us one with each other.
It is in your name we pray. Amen.
Holy God, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.

The flowers given today by the Ripple family (Dean, Anna, Joseph, Leona)
are in loving memory of Dean's cousin, Arthur Easley, who passed away this past spring.
Arthur loved his family, and the ship, USS Orleck, upon which he proudly served during WWII.
